Goose Creek wins NGF Award - Congrats Jeff Berg and the Goose Creek Team!

NGF RECOGNIZES OUTSTANDING FACILITIES WITH THE 8th ANNUAL CUSTOMER LOYALTY AWARDS

Jupiter, Fla. - The National Golf Foundation (NGF) is presenting the 8th annual Customer Loyalty Awards to managers of public golf facilities that received high customer approval ratings and most improvement in 2009. Awards will be presented at the Golf Industry Show in San Diego, Calif., on February 10-11, 2010.

The Customer Loyalty Awards are based on surveys fielded through NGF's Voice of Golfer Program. Facilities with the highest customer loyalty scores, and most improved facilities, as well as multi-course operators, are being recognized with these awards.

"Given that rounds played are flat and competition is fierce, many golf course operators are fighting back with ways to earn greater customer loyalty and higher wallet share," says Ben Fowler who heads up NGF's Voice of Golfer Program. "The operators we are recognizing this year are among the many who are succeeding despite the current economic environment."

NGF's golf engagement services help clients measure the customer experience, engagement of employees and perceptions of golfers in the local market. NGF's systems deliver "Voice of Golfer" (VOG), "Voice of Employee" (VOE) and Voice of Market (VOM) intelligence. These systems identify individual factors that are most influential in creating loyal customers, engaged employees and an interested marketplace. NGF is experienced building and executing these systems for golf course operators, management companies, municipal golf systems, resorts, retailers, equipment manufacturers and golf travel organizations.
