Well, it's that time again, we're back with round two of our new blog where we throw out ideas, advice and questions on relevant (we hope!) issues in the golf industry and ask you to weigh in with your opinions. Our first round was a very moderate success, probably a C- effort at best, but we did get a few good comments from some of our faithful readers. Thanks to those who chimed in.
This month we've got a couple of topics that should interest anyone considering a green or bunker renovation project in the coming year(s). What we'd like to know is how you plan on doing the work.
Building greens? Are you using a USGA recommended profile, or might you consider an alternative, less costly method?
How about bunkers? Do you know where the greatest cost increases have come from in bunker construction?
If you've got some thoughts on these questions, or would like to know what your peers are saying,
log on and speak your mind. Add your comments at the bottom of the page and feel free to do it anonymously.
Keep your eye out for our next column in GolfCourseIndustry.com -- where much more information is available on this and many more interesting topics.
See you in cyberspace... Bob Lohmann
