Chris McCarthy Earns a Spot on the Virlina Cup Team

GWGCSA hosted the first Virlina Cup qualifier of the year on Thursday, May 18th at Loudoun Golf & Country Club. The field was packed with great players and former Virlina Cup qualifiers. It was Chris McCarthy, Superintendent at Evergreen Country Club that came out on top securing this year's first spot on the Virlina Cup team. This will be Chris' first Virlina Cup, congratulations.
   
The 2-Person Championship competition was comprised of teams with 2 “current” GWGCSA members.  The Low Net team of Todd Cowing and Mark Merrick were recognized as the 2023 Champions and took home the trophy, congratulations!
