VGCSA Championship Presented by SynaTek Kicks Off 2026 Event Season at Spring Creek Golf Club

The Virginia Golf Course Superintendents Association officially kicked off its 2026 statewide event season on Monday, July 13, with the VGCSA Championship Presented by SynaTek at Spring Creek Golf Club in Zion Crossroads.

The annual championship brought together superintendents, assistants, affiliates, and industry partners from across the Commonwealth for a day of friendly competition, networking, and camaraderie. The event also served as the final qualifier for this year's Virlina Cup, where Team Virginia will compete against the Carolinas.

The association extends its sincere appreciation to Jason Hoffman, JB Lamb, and the entire golf course maintenance team at Spring Creek Golf Club for preparing an exceptional course that provided a true championship test. Thanks also go to the club's golf operations and food & beverage staff for their outstanding hospitality throughout the day. VGCSA also recognizes SynaTek, the event's presenting partner, for its continued commitment to the association. Special thanks to Josh Peters and Steve Harris, CGCS, for joining members throughout the day and helping make the championship a success.
